There is a lot to hear here and unsurprisingly it's a mixed bag, but Passing Strange's stunning arrangement of "Tourniquet" blows me away. They make it sound like it was ALWAYS a piano ballad, and their contribution was to rock it up with lively drums. summer villain

I’m having a hard time describing this band’s incredibly unique sound. “ Psychedelic punk” doesn’t quite do it, but I still bet drugs are involved somehow. Reminds me very much of the level of creativity Refused put into The Shape of Punk to Come without sounding very much like it at all. Super thrilled that I came across this band! Mister Anthrope
This New Zealand group have a sweet glaze and an underlying toothiness that would have fit right in on mid-’90s alt-rock radio. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 1, 2019

such a solid mix of stuff for 11 tracks! luv how warm and sparkly the mastering is, and that transition from kevin's lament to prescience is godly jpeg2k
